If passed, Senate Bill 39 would establish education savings accounts that would fund vouchers that South Carolina students use to attend or subsidize alternative educational options like brick-and-mortar private schools, online private schools, micro-schools, and learning pods. Families could also choose to use grant funding for transportation to and from eligible education programs.
